The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Maryland ranks well among its peer institutions.

US NewsIn the 2016 U.S. News and World Report Best Engineering Graduate Schools ranked our graduate programs within the top 20 engineering programs in the nation. Our electrical engineering program is ranked at 16th in the country, and our computer engineering program ranked at 16th in the country as well.

Overall, The A. James Clark School of Engineering ranked 24th among the top engineering graduate schools in the nation.
