Building Science Research Group at the Mechanical Engineering Department is seeking software developers, undergraduate/graduate computer science/engineering students, to support implementation and development of web-based building energy simulation platform. This simulation platform will consist of several cloud-based simulation tools with simulation engines already developed.
The position focuses on development of user-friendly interface solutions to enable use of cloud-based simulation tools. The ideal candidate will have understanding of server programming and development of cloud-based software solutions. Preferred requirements are:
· Web application development on LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) environment
· Programming skills in C++ and Ruby
· Web page development with HTML/Javascript/CSS
· MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular.js, and node.js)
