Twelfth ECE Career Fair Attracts 42 Employers, More than 400 students

The 12th annual Fall Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Career Fair attracted 42 employers and more than 400 students on October 28, 2016 in the Jeong H. Kim Engineering Building. Career Fair booths were stationed on the first and second floors of the Kim Building to accommodate the number of employers interested in hiring ECE students.

The ECE department hosted the following employers:

Adaptive Methods, Advanced Technology & Research Corporation, Appian, Avid Technology Professionals, Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, Booz Allen Hamilton, Capital One, Central Intelligence Agency, Cipher Tech Solutions, CMTA, Inc., CPA Global, Fourth Dimension, Global Prior Art, Google, Inc., G3 Technologies, Inc., Hughes Network Systems, Intelsat, Intralox, Johns Hopkins APL, Key Tech, Kratos Federal Solutions, L-3 Advanced Programs, L-3 Chesapeake Sciences Corporation, Leidos, LGS Innovations, Lockheed Martin, M.C. Dean, Inc., Metrostar Systems, Mil Corp, Motarola Solutions, Inc., National Security Agency, National Institute of Standards and Technology, Naval Research Laboratory, Procon Consulting LLC, Sotera Defense Solutions, Sycopated Engineering, Systems Engineering Group, Inc., Textron, The Aerospace Corporation, Toyon Research Corporation, Verizon, and ViaSat.  

The participating employers offered opportunities for internships and full-time positions. The event helps organizations to connect with UMD students and build brand on UMD’s campus in an efficient fashion. The Spring ECE Career Fair will be held in March 2017.
