The University of Maryland Department of Physics and Condensed Matter Theory Center will host the fourth Richard E. Prange Prize lecture at 4 p.m. in the Physics lecture hall, room 1412. Nobel laureate Andre Geim of the University of Manchester is this year’s recipient; his talk, “Random Walk to Graphene” is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served at 3:30 p.m.
