KEYW in Hanover, MD, is recruiting summer interns!

Mechanical and Electrical Engineering students.
Juniors, seniors or masters.
US Citizenship.

Mechanical Intern will support electronics packaging design and manufacturing activities. Tasking may include:
*3D CAD design and drafting of mechanical/electrical components and assemblies
*Performing engineering analyses: thermal, structural, tolerance stack-ups
*Fabricating, assembling and qualifying 1st article engineering prototypes
*Designing and conducting laboratory experiments to evaluate material selections and/or advanced electronic packaging manufacturing processes
*Authoring and qualifying manufacturing work instruction documentation
*Performing vendor research, selection and interface

Electrical Interns will Intern will support electrical design and test. Tasking may include:
•Assist in the development of printed circuit boards (PCBs) including part selection and schematic capture
•Assist in the transition to manufacturing
•Assist in the test and evaluation of electrical circuits
•Assist in analyzing test failures for root causes and corrective actions
•Documenting test plans, test results, design concepts, etc.
 
KEYW delivers cybersecurity and geospatial intelligence solutions to U.S. Government and commercial customers. Our services include a full range of technical and program management capabilities needed to conceptualize, build, integrate, and support intelligence systems. Much of our work requires high-level security clearances, and the descriptions and details of this work are classified.
