Ephremides Gives Two Invited Lectures, Co-Chairs NSF Workshop

Prof. Anthony Ephremides

Professor Anthony Ephremides (ECE/ISR) recently gave invited lectures on wireless networking at the University of Florida and Virginia Tech.

He was invited to speak at the University of Florida on October 29, 2007 on the subject of "Cross-Layering in Wireless Networks." Ephremides spoke on the same subject at Virginia Tech's Distinguished Lecture Series on October 26.

Ephremides also recently served as the Co-Chair of a National Science Foundation workshop on "Bridging the Gap between Wireless Networking Technologies and Advances at the Physical Layer," which was held August 27-28, 2007, in Reston, Va.
