Two ECE Students Earn Wylie Dissertation Fellowships

ECE graduate students Kyechong Kim and Xiangrong Zhou were awarded Ann G. Wylie Dissertation Fellowships for 2007-2008. Only 40 University of Maryland students were selected to receive these fellowships based on a rigorous, university-wide nomination and selection process.

Kyechong Kim is advised by ECE Professor Agis Iliadis and Xiangrong Zhou is advised by ECE Assistant Professor Peter Petrov.

The Wylie Dissertation Fellowship, which includes a $10,000 stipend, health insurance allowance, and tuition remission, is intended to reward outstanding students and help them devote their full attention to the quality of their dissertation. More information is available at the Graduate School website.
