Principal at Code Consultants, Inc.

TITLE:  Write Your Own Playbook

ABSTRACT:

When I was 8 years old, I wanted to be a doctor. Fast forward to 37 years and I am a wife, mom, daughter, sister, business partner, owner and fire protection engineer. Needless to say, I have a pretty big playbook. In this discussion, I hope to share with you my playbook. It isn't perfect, but it is fluid. It has successes and failures. It is constantly changing to make me a better wife, mom, daughter, sister, business partner, owner and fire protection engineer.

In my 20 years as a kid, a foundation was set. In my 10 years as an engineer, a foundation was set. As a young CCI Principal, a new foundation began. Now being considered a "legacy" CCI Principal, my playbook continues.

The path to becoming a leader, let alone an executive leader, is a path that you need to create. It is a path that is neither given to you, nor laid out for you. I hope that every person who joins this discussion will leave one golden nugget to add to your playbook, to create your own path.
