Iliadis Paper Wins First Prize at International Biotechnology Forum

Professor Agis Iliadis was awarded first prize for a paper he co-authored and presented at the third annual International Greek Biotechnology Forum (IGBF3), Oct. 5-7, 2006, in Athens, Greece. The paper was titled "Development of high sensitivity Interleukin-6 biosensors," and was co-authored by Iliadis, S. Krishnamoorthy, T. Bei, E. Zoumakis, and G. Chrousos.

IGBF3 was created to foster the development and transfer of biotechnology to and from Greece, Southeastern Europe and Middle East, as well as the Balkans and Russia. For more information about the annual international forum, visit: http://www.igbf.gr/.
