ECE Grad Student Krishnamoorthy Awarded Dean’s Dissertation Fellowship

Soumya Krishnamoorthy
Soumya has been a top academic performer in the ECE department. She has contributed significant research findings in biosensor device development on thin films and nanostructures.
The fellowship, which includes a $10,000 stipend, health insurance allowance, and tuition remission for the fall semester, is intended to reward outstanding students and help them devote their full attention to the quality of their dissertation.
Another ECE student, Jie Qin, was also nominated for the fellowship, but was not among the final 30 students selected to receive the award.
Soumya is advised by ECE Professor Agis Iliadis.
