New Edition of Reiser Book Released

A new edition has been released of a book authored by Professor Martin Reiser (ECE/IREAP), titled "Theory and Design of Charged Particle Beams," published by Wiley-VCH. The updated edition covers experiments, theory, and simulation in beam physics research since 1993, when the first edition was published. The book includes information about the University of Maryland Electron Ring, which is being used to study space-charge dominated beams in rings and re-circulators.
