Alumnus Newman Promoted at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab

Andrew Newman, Ph.D. '99

Alumnus Andrew Newman has been appointed to the Principal Professional Staff at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU-APL).

Newman graduated with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 1999. His advisor was Professor P.S. Krishnaprasad (ECE/ISR). Upon graduating, he joined Alphatech, Inc., located in Arlington, Va. In 2003, he began work for the JHU-APL. He and his wife Cindy are the parents of two young sons.
