Aschenbach Receives BIO IT Scholarship Award
ECE graduate student Konrad Aschenbach recently won a BIO IT Coalition Scholarship Award "for excellence in bioscience information technology studies." He was one of five students to be selected for the scholarship prize, which offers a cash prize of $1,000. The award is sponsored by the Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO) and was held at the Carnegie Institution in Washington, DC on April 23, 2008. Konrad is advised by Professor Mel Gomez.
The BIO IT Coalition was formed to foster the convergence of bioscience, information technology and business in the National Capital region.
