ECE Names 2016-2017 Distinguished Dissertation Fellows
The fellowships are awarded to outstanding students in the final stages of dissertation work in recognition of their research excellence. This year, each fellowship recipient will receive $3,000. The following authors’ dissertations were selected by a search committee. Professors Blankenship, Khaligh, Papamanthou, Ott, and Simon chose this year’s fellows:

In addition, the selection committee chose Kazemipour and Boda as the department’s two nominees for the A. James Clark School’s Dean’s Research Award.
