Texas Instruments Workshop

Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) Games for Embedded Systems

Who has not wanted to make their own version of a portable gaming device from scratch and create their own games? We will show how you can get started using RTOS with the TI LaunchPad™ ecosystem. Get a hands-on deep dive into the MSP432 LaunchPad™ development kit and the SimpleLink™ family of products and learn where to find additional resources to progress your knowledge of RTOS. Internet of Things (IoT) applications introduce many complexities to embedded systems, so you will learn how RTOS helps engineers cope with these common design challenges.

Benefits of attending the workshop:

  • Understand how RTOS could help when writing firmware in a wide variety of complex system scenarios
  • Expose students to ARM architecture and the flexibility for simple projects to highly sophisticated systems
  • Bring practical learning to students

Register: https://go.umd.edu/tinov
