Title: Silicon T Center Integration in Nanophotonic Structures for Quantum Applications

Abstract:

The silicon T center is a promising solid-state qubit candidate, featuring a ground-state spin and telecom-wavelength optical transitions that are compatible with fiber-based communication. Its location in silicon makes it uniquely positioned for large-scale integration with existing CMOS fabrication and photonic technologies, enabling a pathway toward scalable quantum information platforms. This research proposal presents experimental results on the integration of single T centers into nanophotonic structures, demonstrating efficient photon collection and enhanced brightness through Purcell enhancement. Building on this foundation, future efforts will focus on achieving more stable and spectrally uniform emission across devices. Together, these developments aim to establish silicon T centers as building blocks for integrated quantum networks and solid-state quantum information processing.
