ECE Alumnus Xiaobo Tan Wins NSF CAREER Award

Xiaobo Tan
At MSU, Tan directs the Smart Microsystems Laboratory and is part of an interdisciplinary research team on High Assurance Systems. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2002 and was a research associate with the Institute for Systems Research (ISR). He was co-advised by Professor John S. Baras (ECE/ISR) and Professor P.S. Krishnaprasad (ECE/ISR). He also worked with Associate Professor Reza Ghodssi (ECE/ISR) .
