Shruti Das is a computer engineering sophomore from New Jersey. Outside of her studies and interests in AR/VR, Shruti is involved in volunteer work and student life at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is the Event Operations Manager for Technica, the Marketing Director for Bitcamp, and the Chapter Founder & President of UMD Period. She is a member of the Society of Women Engineers at the University of Maryland and the Association for Women in Computing. Attending the Grace Hopper conference was one of her favorite memories, and she is a huge advocate for women in STEM!
