Barua Earns NSF Grant for Memory Management Research
Associate Professor Rajeev Barua (ECE/ISR) has obtained a three-year National Science Foundation (NSF) grant titled "Memory management as a run-time service." This project will study new techniques to allocate scratch-pad memory as an OS-provided service at run-time, rather than a compiler-provided service at compile-time. The funds will be provided by the Computer Systems Research (CSR) program in the CISE directorate at NSF.
