Chellappa Gives Invited Talk at University of Florida

Minta Martin Professor of Engineering Dr. Rama Chellappa (ECE/UMIACS/CS) gave an invited talk on March 30, 2010 at the University of Florida as part of a distinguished lecture series sponsored by the Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) Department.

The title of the talk was "Looking for Patterns in Videos." Prof. Chellappa discussed some of the general principles for designing robust video-based pattern recognition systems, as well as techniques for video-based modeling and recognition of specific actions using motion, shape and behavior as features.
