Chung's entry, "Visualizing the Translation," focused on the development of a unique pair of glasses that could display a translated foreign language in the lens. He has won a 56" HDTV and home theater system.
Two of the three runner-up winners were also Clark School mechanical engineering students, including Josh Kusnick for his "Voice Robot" entry and Sidney Ngochi for "Smart House." They each receive "Slacker" portable Internet radio players, developed with TI's OMAP technology.
The winning videos and other entries can be viewed on the contest web site. TI also features an interview with Chung regarding his winning idea.
