Dr. Isaak Mayergoyz

Alford L. Ward Professor and Distinguished Scholar-Teacher Isaak Mayergoyz was a keynote speaker at the 8th International Symposium on Hysteresis Modeling and Micromagnetics (HMM 2011) in Levico (Trento) Italy. The title of his talk was "Plasmon Resonances in Nanoparticles, Their Applications to Magnetics and Relation to the Riemann Hypothesis."

HMM 2011 is intended to be a forum for presentation and discussion of the most recent advancements in the fields of hysteresis modeling and computational micromagnetics. Hysteresis can be defined as the phenomenon exhibited by a system in which the reaction of the system to changes is dependent upon its past reactions to change.
