Textron Systems is a world leader in the design, production and support of light armored combat vehicles. Their land products include four-wheeled armored vehicles for the United States, international militaries and civilian entities, operating in more than 35 countries. Their highly mobile and combat-proven family of armored vehicles is survivable, sustainable and infinitely innovative.

  • Brian Huber has been working as a Systems Engineer at Textron Systems for over 4 years, specializing in unmanned aircraft ground control technologies. He graduated from UMD with an Aerospace Engineering degree.
  • Sam Ashley is in the Integrated Supply Chain development program at Textron Systems, supporting multiple products across the business. He obtained a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Texas Austin.

Huber and Ashley will give an overview of Textron and the products they make, followed by “a day in the life” where they will briefly discuss what their typical day might look like as an engineer at Textron. Q&A and a resume review/workshop will follow.
