Alumnus Aaron Falk Named Chair of the Internet Research Task Force

Falk currently serves as a Computer Scientist at the University of Southern California’s Information Sciences Institute. While studying as a graduate student at the University of Maryland, Falk co-invented and coded the prototype system for DirecPC, a system to deliver broadband Internet access via satellite. His latest research work is focused on the new XCP Internet protocol, aimed at easing Internet congestion.
