Mesgarani Receives Outstanding Systems Engineering Graduate Student Award

The George Harhalakis Outstanding Systems Engineering Graduate Student Award was presented to ECE Ph.D. student Nima Mesgarani at the annual Institute for Systems Research (ISR) awards ceremony on May 19, 2005. In the photo at right, Mesgarani accepts the award from ISR Director Eyad Abed (ECE/ISR). He was nominated by Professor Shihab Shamma (ECE/ISR), who noted that researchers around the world are impressed with Mesgarani and his insights.
