ECE Student Wins GSNP Best Student Speaker Award

There were 12 nominations and five finalists for the national competition. The finalists spoke at the APS March Meeting in a special session on Tuesday morning. Sameer earned the best student speaker award for his talk, titled "Universal Impedance, Admittance and Scattering Fluctuations in Quantum-chaotic Systems." Sameer won a $500 cash prize as part of the award.
Sameer’s research advisors are Dr. Steven M. Anlage (PHY/ECE), Dr. Thomas M. Antonsen Jr. (ECE/PHY), and Dr. Edward Ott (ECE/PHY).
