Liu, Jiang, Chen, and Gao Win Best Paper Award
Christine Yuri Kim Eminent Professor of Information Technology K.J. Ray Liu (ECE/ISR), researchers Chunxiao Jiang, Yan Chen, and graduate student Yang Gao, have received a 2013 Best Paper Award from the IEEE Communications Society. “Evolutionary Game for Joint Spectrum Sensing and Access in Cognitive Radio Networks” was selected to receive the Cognitive Radio and Networks Symposium best paper award at the 2013 IEEE Global Communications Conference (Globecom). This year, there is only one best paper distinction for each of the 12 Globecom symposia. The award will be presented at Globecom2013 in Atlanta, Georgia this December.
Both Chunxiao Jiang and Yan Chen are research associates in Prof. Liu’s Signals and Information Group. Yang Gao is a Ph.D. advisee of Professor Liu, studying electrical and computer engineering.
IEEE GLOBECOM is one of two flagship conferences of the IEEE Communications Society. Each year the conference attracts about 3000 submitted scientific papers. A technical program committee of more than 1,500 experts provides more than 10,000 reviews.
