Professor Vishkin elected to Chair ACM SPAA Steering Committee
Professor Uzi Vishkin (ECE/UMIACS) has been elected Steering Committee Chair (SCC) for the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Symposium on Parallelism in Algorithms and Architecture (SPAA) for a four-year term. As SCC, Vishkin will be the main point of contact for interactions with related conferences and workshops, the ACM, and related organizations, initiate future SPAA conferences, and lead the SPAA committees for long-term impact awards.
